Young Park is a lovely tree-lined grove, nestled just south of the University of Nebraska-Omaha Bell Tower and the home of Shakespeare On the Green. 

Show up early (or set your blankets as early as 12:00 PM) to get the best seats and join us before the play for great food, pre-show entertainment, activities, and more!

As part of our Female Forward 2019 season, Ladies Night On The Green is a time to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

Bring your women's organization, co-workers, and/or the other amazing women in your life to the Green to represent and support female-led theatre!

 
 Hamlet Opening - Thursday, June 27 | 6:00 PM
Hauntings, betrayal, family-ties, self-exploration, love, war - this play has it all! Nebraska Shakespeare's production will embrace the theatricality and rich storytelling of the play, giving new insights into this famous story like never before.


 Family Night - Saturday, June 29th | 6:00 PM
 Join us for a night of face-painting, sword-fighting, costumes, and activities perfect for the younger Shakespeareans, in addition to delicious food, live music, and Shakespeare's iconic play, Hamlet!

 Educators Night - Tuesday, July 2nd | 6:00 PM
Teachers work hard throughout the year and this night is about appreciating those efforts! Wear your school apparel, bring your team for group seating, and you teacher ID for Educator-only discounts on food and beer.

 
 Late Night Hamlet - Wednesday, July 3rd | 8:00 PM
Join us for a special, one-night-only, after-dark showing of Hamlet. Come early at 8:00 PM to claim your spot and grab food.  The performance starts at 10 PM.
