THE PROGRAM
Part of the Connect with Shakespeare series, the Director's Reading explores the signature lines, major moments, and compelling characterizations of Shakespeare's lesser known works.

THE PLAY
Shakespeare’s Timon of Athens is an examination of privilege and poverty. Timon is a celebrated member of Athens, whose exploitation by false friends forces us to gaze into the cravings we all share. This year's Director's Reading will be held at 3 PM on April 6th at Gallery 1516.

Join us at 2 PM to enjoy a glass of wine, meet the staff and cast, and take in the artwork in the Nebraska 8 Invitational exhibition, featuring the work of eight phenomenal artists associated with Nebraska: Mary Zicafoose, Christina Narwicz, Karen Kunc, Jacqueline Kluver, Gail Kendall, Sheila Hicks, Catherine Ferguson, and Wanda Ewing.
