Aly Peeler
Aly Peeler is a young Omaha native who plays the ukulele and sings her heart content. She started playing the ukulele in 2008 during her senior year at Iowa State University. After graduation, Aly continued discovering her passions and exploring the world with her travel companion, her ukulele, eventually leading her back to Omaha, She finds inspiration in everything around her and wants to promote a message of collaboration, acceptance and love.
 
Edem Soul Music
Edem Kegey was born in Maryland in 1991, and at the age of 3 began to sing. When she was just 10 years old, she knew singing was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. When Edem sang at the John Beasley theater at 15 she was little frightened, but knew this was the road to her dream. From then, Edem has been establishing a sound, that is not only unique,
but represents her Soul's Expression of Music.
Jessica Errett
Jessica is a songwriter from Omaha and front-woman of indie rock band Edge of Arbor. A multi-instrumentalist, she has developed a writing style that is deceivingly simple, layered with beautiful dissonance, and features her smooth airy vocals. She is active in the local music scene, playing in various other bands besides her own, including All Young Girls Are Machine Guns, Tara Vaughan Band, fox, and Surfer Rosa.
 
Matt Whipkey
Matt Whipkey has released nearly a dozen albums in as many years. Whipkey brings unabashedly Americana-tinged music and showmanship matched by top-tier songwriting.
 
Mitch Gettman
Mitch Gettman is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter from Omaha, NE. Gettman first garnered attention when, as a high schooler, he began drawing fans to local rock clubs with strong guitar work and even stronger songwriting. He has been writing songs and playing live in Omaha and the Midwest region since he was 14-years-old. He moved to Chicago after graduating high school and shortly after moving back to Omaha in 2012 started recording.
 
Mary Ruth McLeay
At 18, Mary Ruth McLeay lives in Omaha and has been she was 12 years old and began performing when she was around 13. Today, she has written nearly 200 songs and has performed at The Waiting Room for FemmeFest and Reverb Lounge for The OAEE Summer showcase. SHe describes her style as "constantly evolving from acoustic, to folk, to GarageBand, to a lil’ electronic, and finally to indie pop."

The Shineys
The Shineys was born in 2015 during a conversation between two old college friends regarding reclaiming music after life circumstances had dulled our shine. They vowed to reclaim it and be “The Shineys” They began playing farmer’s market’s in Omaha and eventually connected with the open mic scene and began to play around town. The Shineys have appeared at many venues around Omaha, Lincoln & southwest Iowa.
