Keeping the Flame Alive

Join us as we present our annual gala:

BACKSTAGE BASH: “Keeping the Flame Alive!”
sponsored by the Omaha World-Herald

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at the Omaha Design Center (1502 Cuming Street). The evening festivities begin at 6 PM with fire-eating, madrigals and jugglers.

The Gala will celebrate Nebraska Shakespeare's 30 years of accessible Shakespeare programing and honor long-time supporters, Harold "Andy" Andersen and Fred Simon.

The Honorary Chairs are Joe and Jane Kavan, Co-Chairs are Susan Tracy and Francie Prier. A special thank you to the Omaha World-Herald for their generous sponsorship in honor of Andy Andersen.

A special evening is planned that will include entertainment and an oral auction, all hosted by the charming Mike Kelly, Omaha World-Herald metro columnist. Dr. Elliot Engel, a humorist and historian, will present
“How William Became Shakespeare.”
