Nebraska Shakespeare relies on the help of dozens of volunteers each year.  There are a number of ways

you can get involved in very fun and meaningful ways. Check out the different options to find one that fits you!

Shakespeare On the Green Community Volunteers

Our core group of volunteers is instrumental to the success of Shakespeare On the Green.

This group will meet monthly; March, April, and May at Creighton University, "On the Green" in

June and July, and a Post meeting at Creighton in August.

• Coordinate a welcoming party for the artists, actors, and technicians of Shakespeare on the Green at a private home
• Assist with Nebraska Shakespeare's annual fundraiser in early June at Creighton's Harper Center
• Provide information and assistance to patrons and donors On the Green at the Information Tent
• Provide support and input to Shakespearience; Nebraska Shakespeare's summer educational activities.

• Coordinate monthly meetings and On the Green tasks for Community Volunteers
• Assist in recruiting a core group of volunteers
• Facilitate communication between volunteers and NS staff members.

• Helps to recruit Merry Bandits.
• Schedules and provides information to organizations and companies who sign up to be Merry Bandits.
• Works with Nebraska Shakespeare's Site Manager to ensure our Merry Bandits have a great experience On the Green.

Not a problem.

 

Merry Bandits are comprised of 5-10 volunteers who

• Assist in raffle sales.
• Collect donations.
• Distribute programs.
• Are ambassadors of good will.
