Macbeth

June 18-21, 24-28

“I am in blood

Stepp'd in so far, that, should I wade no more

Returning were as tedious as go o'er.”
-Act III, scene 4

Returning from battle, Macbeth encounters three mysterious women who tell him he will become king. Urged on by his wife, he decides to take his destiny in hand by murdering King Duncan as he sleeps. But as one atrocity leads inexorably to another, Macbeth finds that the choices we make can have unexpected consequences.

Plunging us into a nightmare world of eternal darkness and terror, Shakespeare’s great tragedy remains the definitive study of the descent into evil.

ImageThe performance on Sunday, June 21 will be ASL-interpreted.
