Audition information for Nebraska Shakespeare's 2008 Season Much Ado About Nothing and King Lear is listed below.
Auditionees may prepare two contrasting Shakespeare monologues or sides. Total audition time is 3 minutes. Those preparing monologues should choose one for the audition with the potential of being asked to perform the other.
Those preparing readings should bring their own scene partners where needed, as a reader will not be provided. Actors should select scenes from Much Ado or King Lear, based on interest of roles and/or what displays the actor’s skills to the best advantage.
