Friends of Shakespeare Parties

The Shakespeare Parties are a fun way for patrons to help fundraise for the Festival and to provide others a way of becoming a Friend of Shakespeare.   Hosts provide the venue and create their party's theme.  Past parties have included cocktail parties, potlucks, formal sit-down dinners,  and picnics in the park.  Hosts have fun coming up with creative ideas.  One group, for example, created their own over-the-top amateur theatre complete with a "Macbeth" witch's cauldron full of imported beer.  The possibilities are endless.

$70 per couple or $35 per person

We start in January and go year-round.

Hosting a Friends of Shakespeare Party is tax deductible, and all hosts are invited to the Opening Night Patron's Party on June 19th.
