This year’s Shakespeare On The Green company will consist of 19-20 actors of any gender, the 2019 Shakespeare On Tour company will consist of 8 actors of any gender.


There are Equity and non-Equity contracts available for all productions with the exception of Othello, which is a non-Equity touring program. Because All's Well That Ends Well will be an all female production, all male contracts will be non-EquityNebraska Shakespeare does not discriminate based on race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Those auditioning are asked to bring two copies of their headshot and resume. Please prepare two contrasting Shakespearean monologues. Total time for your prepared pieces is three minutes. 



CALLBACKS

With the exception of the Equity Principal Auditions on January 8th, Nebraska Shakespeare does not hold a separate day of callbacks. Those auditioning may be given direction on their prepared pieces, or asked to read from audition sides. Actors are encouraged to reserve an hour to accommodate this process. Actors may also be cast without being asked to perform more than their prepared audition pieces.
