V Craig Heidenreich appeared this season as Claudius in Hamlet at the Hippodrome and as Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird and Directed Best of Enemies at Florida Rep. Last season, he played Juror Eight in Twelve Angry Men also at Florida Rep, Harry Wilson in Pitmen Painters and numerous roles in It’s A Wonderful Life at American Stage and directed Freak for the Urbanite. He has produced, directed, and/or or performed in more than 200 professional productions throughout the country including 15 seasons and more than eighty productions with Actors Theatre of Louisville, three seasons with the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, two seasons with the Asolo in Florida, five with Shakespeare Santa Cruz in California and three years as artistic director of the Complete Theatre Alliance and Infinite Space as well as the first three seasons of the Banyan Theater in Sarasota, of which he is a founder. Past Shakespeare roles include Henry IV; Macbeth; Richard III; Hamlet; Iago in Othello; Edgar in King Lear; Hector in Troilus and Cressida; Painter in Timon of Athens; Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew; Jacques in As You Like It; Malvolio in Twelfth Night; Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Navarre in Love’s Labors Lost. He currently splits his time between theatre work and coaching acting, text, and poetics for Banyan Voice and Speech in which he and his wife, Tess Hogan, are partners.
