Kevin Ehrhart has been a member of the Omaha Theater Company staff since 1989. While at the Theater, he has directed main-stage, studio theater and national tour productions. His directing credits include Sherlock Holmes, The First Baker Street IrregularCharlotte's Web, Treasure Island, A Year with Frog and Toad the Musical and The Cat in the Hat. Kevin directed The Bully Show at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' New Visions New Voices program. As a professional actor at the Theater, Kevin has performed as George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life, Rooster in Annie, Hook in Peter Pan, Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Cat in the Hat in Seussical - The Musical and Mr. Smee in Peter and the Starcatcher. As an educator, Kevin has developed creative drama curriculum for improvisation, movement and directing. Kevin has also been a member of the Arts Are Basic program in Lincoln Nebraska from its inception. He has developed two separate arts-in-education courses of study for elementary teachers.
